Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Data Center Infrastructure Architect to develop and maintain high-value customer relationships throughout our sales process. Reporting to the Director of Data Center Architecture, this technical role will be focused on accelerating sales, guiding customer interactions as a technical lead, and providing thought leadership through a solution approach to layer-one cable infrastructure. This role requires the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as well as build trusted relationships with customers. The pay range for this role is $120,000 - $170,000 annually, including a base and variable compensation component. Actual salary offered will vary based on applicant’s relevant skills, education, experience, certifications and geographic location, as well as other business and organizational needs.

Location: This position may be based at our Syracuse, NY or Norcross, GA office locations or may be performed remotely, depending on business needs and candidate qualifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Deliver expert pre-and post-sales technical support, including designassistance, addressing technical queries, crafting tailored solutions,supportingquotes, and proposals
  • Technicallyengagewithprospects and current customersto consult, advise, andelevate the customer experience
  • Collaborate closely with thesales team to ensureCABLExpressproducts are the preferred choice during all customer interactions and opportunitydevelopment

  • Proficiencyin MicrosoftVisioto supportdesignaccording toTIA942 standards;knowledge of AutoCADor other engineering applications a plus
  • Proficiencyin MicrosoftOffice, specifically Word,ExcelandPowerPoint
