Job description

The Facilities Manager role is within the Parlement Technologies "Alchemy Data Centers". Our data centers have been operating in Southern California since 1995 in downtown Los Angeles and Irvine CA. We are actively looking for a full-time data center facility manager.


Required Skills:

  • Working understanding of the major building facility systems including cooling, electrical distributing, power backup, security, life safety, kitchen and restroom functions
  • Handyman skills
  • Procurement and negotiation
  • The ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Time management skills
  • Teamwork, leadership and motivational skills
  • Proactive thinking
  • Competent writing and communication skills - including the ability to communicate technical information
  • Relationship-building


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of facility staff/management
  • Some college coursework or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to review work for accuracy and customers satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Accurate data recording skills
  • Ability to meet production and quality standards for yourself and staff
  • Ability to observe processes and suggest improvements
