Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated AI Infrastructure Procurement Specialist to help expand our AI infrastructure footprint across the United States.
As AI computing demand continues to accelerate, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing data center capacity nationwide. You will work closely with internal infrastructure, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to source colocation opportunities, negotiate commercial terms, and build long-term relationships with data center providers, landlords, utilities, and strategic partners.
This role requires frequent travel and is ideal for someone who enjoys building from the ground up in a fast-paced startup environment. Local candidates are preferred, however open to remote-based candidates as well.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Source and evaluate data center opportunities across the United States to support AI infrastructure expansion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with colocation providers, real estate owners, developers, utility companies, and infrastructure partners.
  • Support procurement and commercial negotiations for data center capacity, including pricing, contract terms, and service agreements.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, deployment, finance, and operations teams to assess site feasibility.
  • Assist with due diligence on power availability, facility readiness, connectivity, and operational requirements.
  • Track market intelligence, including data center availability, power capacity, pricing trends, and regional supply dynamics.
  • Travel extensively throughout the U.S. to visit sites, attend industry meetings, and develop partner relationships.
  • Help establish scalable sourcing processes as the company continues to grow.

Required Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Procurement
    • Strategic Sourcing
    • Data Center Operations
    • Commercial Real Estate
    • Infrastructure Development
    • Facilities Management
    • Utility or Power-related industries
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the United States (up to 50-70%).
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
