Senior Project Manager – Data Center Construction


Location: Dallas, TX

Working Structure: Hybrid, 3-4 days per week on-site (Flexible with work life balance)

Compensation: $180k – $200k Base + Project-Based Bonuses (Up to 70% of Base comp)


We have partnered with a Premier Southwest Real Estate Developer currently scaling to meet a massive surge in their data center portfolio. Backed by a multi-billion dollar institutional parent company, this firm operates with a lean, efficient team of 50+ people.


They are at a significant growth point, currently delivering a flagship 1.2 GW hyperscale site. This is a role for a Senior Project Manager who prefers the autonomy of a developer but keeps the technical edge of a builder. You will have a direct line to the Project Executive and the SVP of Design and Construction, ensuring your work is visible and your impact is immediate.


Roles & Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage the full lifecycle of hyperscale data center delivery:


  • Execution: Lead the pre-construction phase, including permitting, site selection, and procurement, through to commissioning and final hand-over.
  • Technical Management: Oversee complex mechanical and electrical coordination for high-density power environments, ensuring infrastructure meets mission-critical standards.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets exceeding $100M, ensuring cost control and transparent reporting for a Fortune 100 client roster.
  • Vendor Leadership: Direct general contractors and specialized engineers to meet aggressive timelines without compromising on quality or safety.
  • Site Presence: Spend significant time on-site in Texas to provide real-time leadership and ensure project momentum.


What we are looking for?


  • Experience: 5-8 years in construction project management, specifically within the data center or mission-critical sector.
  • Background: A strong foundation working for a General Contractor or developer is highly preferred. You should be comfortable overseeing architects, consultants, and engineers from a lead position.
  • Qualifications (Ideal but not essential): B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering / PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • Logistics: Ability to travel multiple days a week to remote project sites. We are looking for individuals who are motivated by high-scale projects and are comfortable with the travel required to deliver them.
  • Location: Ideally based in Dallas or Atlanta
