Overview

At Gallagher Re, we’re looking for a Senior Reinsurance Broker to join our treaty team. In this client-facing role, you’ll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to drive new business, develop innovative products, and retain key client accounts. You’ll work with C-Suite executives, providing expert advice on reinsurance treaty structures and risk management strategies.


How you'll make an impact

You’ll lead the way in developing, negotiating, and placing reinsurance treaties with markets across the globe, including the US, London, and Bermuda. You’ll counsel clients on optimizing their reinsurance structures to mitigate risks and improve capital efficiency.

You’ll collaborate with actuarial, catastrophe, and financial modeling teams to analyze insurance risks and deliver tailored solutions. You’ll also coordinate underwriting and claims audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

As a leader, you’ll contribute to Gallagher Re’s global production strategy by joining a Product Vertical/Segment and developing thought leadership content for clients, conferences, and publications.


About You

Required:

  • Requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to present to C-Suite executives and build strong client relationships.
  • Strengths in problem-solving, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in tools like MS Excel and Power BI, with a solid understanding of probability and statistical concepts.
