Job description

Program Manager - WiFi Product Team

Note: All candidates not currently residing in Denver, CO will not be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager III to lead end-to-end delivery of strategic WiFi product initiatives. This is a hands-on program management role focused on driving execution across the full product lifecycleโ€”from requirements gathering and planning through launch and post-launch reporting.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned program manager with experience delivering WiFi, router, 5G, or subscription-based products in a cross-functional environment. This position partners closely with Product Management but is not responsible for product ownership. Instead, the focus is on planning, execution, governance, stakeholder management, and ensuring successful delivery.

This is an opportunity to help build and reinforce a strong PMO culture by applying consistent project management standards, templates, governance, and best practices across multiple initiatives.

Contract Details:

  • 6 month contract (will be long term w/ extensions)
  • Hybrid schedule: 4 days/week in the office (Greenwood Village)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program management for strategic WiFi product initiatives from planning through post-launch reporting.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, milestones, and critical path analysis.
  • Manage RAID logs, risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and executive status reporting.
  • Drive cross-functional execution across Product Management, Engineering, IT, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Legal, Sales, and executive leadership.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Facilitate program governance, stakeholder communication, and executive updates.
  • Identify project risks early and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Apply PMO best practices, standardized templates, and governance processes across programs.
  • Monitor project health, dependencies, resource needs, and delivery milestones.
  • Mentor and influence project teams by promoting consistent project management methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Program or Project Management experience managing large, complex initiatives.
  • Proven experience managing projects from initial requirements through launch and post-launch support.
  • Experience delivering WiFi products, including routers, mesh/extender technologies, or related networking solutions.
  • Experience with 5G, telecommunications, or subscription-based products is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, WBS creation, critical path management, scheduling, and dependency management.
  • Experience maintaining project documentation, RAID logs, status reports, and executive communications.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using Jira and project planning tools (Microsoft Project experience is a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and work effectively across multiple business functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Telecommunications industry experience.
  • Experience launching physical hardware products.
  • Experience managing product lifecycle initiatives.
  • Experience working within a mature PMO environment.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.
