Data Scientist, Senior
The Opportunity:
Work as a Data Scientist supporting an intelligence client's foreign ground force reporting requirements. Work as part of a diverse contract team performing in-depth technical analysis of foreign conventional and irregular warfare threats to US ground force systems, combat support systems, and US operations. Finished all-source intelligence products adhere to client and IC standards using a multi-discipline approach including HUMINT, IMINT/GEOINT, MASINT, SIGINT, and OSINT tools through various data collection procedures and technologies, including emerging data science and big data methodologies.
You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
  • Experience with statistical and general purpose programming languages, to include Python, SQL, and NoSQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau
  • Ability to conduct data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis, and uses scientific techniques to correlate data into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products
  • Ability to proactively retrieve information from various sources, analyze it for better understanding about the data set, and build AI tools that automate certain processes
  • Ability to provide in-depth scientific and technical analysis to provide support analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Analytics or Engineering field

Nice If You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
  • Experience with AC2SP, R, GitHub, and Palantir
  • Knowledge of DoD Intelligence processes, activities, standards, and available analytic tools
  • Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks
  • Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products
  • Master's degree in a Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Analytics or Engineering field

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
