Department Summary
The Research Analyst will support applied research and evaluation projects on labor and workforce development in California. The role includes coordinating research, collecting and analyzing data, and collaborating with partners to produce reports and engaging materials for diverse audiences.
Position Summary
The Research Analyst will support applied research and evaluation projects in labor and workforce development for the POWER team. Key responsibilities include coordinating research and evaluation data collection efforts, designing methodologies, implementing studies, analyzing data, and disseminating findings. The role requires active engagement with community partners and stakeholders across Los Angeles and California. The Research Analyst will collaborate with the evaluation team to produce reports and create visually compelling materials for diverse audiences.
Salary & Compensation
*UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.   • Working knowledge of labor research and demonstrated ability to write clear, cogent, factually accurate research reports and summaries and to edit the work of others to the same standard. (Required)
  • Ability to read and synthesize scholarly literature and to write articles and summaries on varied research topics. (Required)
  • Ability to work independently on large and complex research projects, to negotiate and meet multiple deadlines, and to assist Labor Center staff in preparing materials for publication. (Required)
