Job description

Job Summary:
Foxwoods Resort Casino is seeking an Executive Director for Analytics & Optimization, responsible for strategy and implementation of analytics and revenue management activities. The role involves managing teams, conducting financial analyses, and developing revenue optimization strategies across the resort casino operations.
Responsibilities:
• Under the supervision of the Senior Vice President of Gaming Operations, the incumbent is responsible for the strategy and implementation of all activities related to analytics and revenue management.
• This includes but is not limited to training, managing & directing the activities of the analytics and revenue management teams.
• The incumbent is to provide ad-hoc project analysis as requested by senior management; prepare value-based financial analyses and pro forma financial statements for all potential gaming expansion opportunities; provide financial, operational and labor analyses / forecasts for all divisions of the resort casino operation; develop and support the Company's annual budget, forecasting and strategic planning process; identifies key areas for operational and process improvement by providing detailed internal and external analysis of gaming, operating, labor and revenue management data.
• The incumbent will also assist with the development and implementation of customer lifetime value models; customer life-cycle based marketing, real-time marketing, integrating predictive analytics and optimization of guest interactions.
• The incumbent will also develop, execute and implement resort-wide Revenue Management strategies.
• Responsible for revenue optimization modules including Revenue Per Available room (REVPAR), Hotel POR/PAR reporting and Passkey.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Master's degree required in Business or Applied Sciences oriented major (Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Engineering)
• Six (6) + years of Revenue Management, Hospitality, Leisure, Gaming, and Consumer related experience required
• Six (6) + years of experience with quantitative analysis & revenue management tools, including but not limited to SAS, Rainmaker, Duetto, iDeas, SASVA, SQL, SFA, NGS, Delphi, Sisense, Qlikview and decision support systems required
• At least 6+ years of management experience with at least 4 years spent managing a team of operational or revenue analysts
• Experience with a PC environment, including the use of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word)
• Excellent planning, organization, and analytical skills
• Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to synthesize information into meaningful conclusions and recommendations
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive cooperative attitude with both internal and external customers
• Ability to work with other areas of Finance and Operations
• Ability to balance multiple concurrent projects with varying degrees of priority
• Ability to work independently on projects from conception to completion
