Job description

Data Analyst, Customer Data Solutions
The Opportunity
Join the Business Analytics team at Workhuman, where we sit at the core of the organization, driving strategy and decision-making through data. As a Data Analyst, you will help shape the next generation of analytics at Workhuman-moving beyond manual data requests and traditional reporting toward intelligent, self-service, and conversational experiences for our internal stakeholders and customers.
You will start by becoming an expert in how we deliver customer data today, using that knowledge to automate manual workflows and turn recurring needs into scalable capabilities. From there, you will help build data models, data products, and AI-assisted experiences that fundamentally change how people discover, explore, and act on data.
The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, data-driven, technical, and business oriented. They will dive deep into our customer data, build production-grade analytical solutions, and actively experiment with emerging technologies. We are looking for someone excited not just to make analytics faster, but to rethink how analytics is experienced.
**This is a hybrid position, with three days per week onsite in our Framingham office.
**Applicants must have valid permanent work authorization in the U.S. (e.g., U.S. citizen, permanent resident). We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
What we can offer you:
  • The opportunity to help shape the future of how Workhuman delivers analytics to internal stakeholders and customers

  • Hands-on experience building AI-assisted, conversational, and self-service analytics experiences

  • Ownership over transforming highly manual workflows into scalable analytical capabilities

  • The freedom to experiment with modern data and AI technologies and help define how we use them

The skills you will bring:
  • Proficiency in querying, analyzing, and visualizing large datasets using SQL and data visualization tools

  • Experience building production-grade data models; experience with dbt is a plus

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and business intuition

  • Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on use of generative AI, professionally or independently, to analyze data, write code, automate workflows, or build new capabilities

  • Exposure to AI coding tools, AI-assisted analytics, conversational analytics, or similar emerging technologies is a plus

  • Strong communication and project management skills and a highly collaborative approach to problem-solving

Achievements:
  • Built dashboards, data products, or self-service capabilities that changed how people access and use data

  • Automated or materially reinvented recurring analytical workflows

  • Built or experimented with an AI-enabled tool, workflow, or project, professionally or independently

  • Translated ambiguous stakeholder or customer needs into scalable analytical solutions
The base salary range for this position is $92,000 to $130,000. Offered base compensation within this range will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, geographic location, and other factors relevant to the scope and responsibilities of this role.
This role is also eligible for bonus or other variable compensation based on job performance and our standard benefits package, which supports employee well-being and work-life balance.
