Position Summary
The Vice President of Business Analytics is responsible for leading the organization's enterprise data strategy and transforming data into actionable insights that drive business performance. This executive role oversees data governance, analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and advanced analytics initiatives to support strategic decision-making across the company.
The VP will establish scalable data infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, and enabling leaders to leverage data to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and financial performance.
This leader serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership and operational teams to embed data-driven decision making into all aspects of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the executive leader for data governance, analytics, reporting, and data architecture.
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities where data can drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise reporting and business intelligence platforms.
  • Develop dashboards and analytics frameworks that enable leaders to track key business metrics.
  • Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across systems.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantitative Field (Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Math, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics).

Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data strategy.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing analytics or data teams.
  • MBA or MS in quantitative field.
  • Proven experience building enterprise analytics capabilities.
  • Experience working with executive leadership to influence strategic decisions.
  • Multi-location or operational businesses, i.e., hospitality, retail, healthcare, etc. (preferred).

Supervisory Responsibility
  • This position supervises a team of leaders and analysts.

Travel
  • Some travel may be needed for this position. Travel is outside the local area and overnight.
