Job description

One Federal Solution is seeking an experienced Business Data Analytics Specialist to support a Government Client by transforming complex workforce and business data into actionable insights. The successful candidate will develop enterprise dashboards, perform workforce analytics, identify trends, automate business processes, and provide executive-level reporting that supports strategic decision-making and organizational performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide dashboards, scorecards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and reports using Tableau, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
  • Develop performance measures and metrics that enhance analytics capabilities and support strategic business decisions.
  • Display complex quantitative data in a clear, concise, and intuitive format for executive leadership.
  • Synthesize data and provide actionable insights and process improvement recommendations.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative workforce and business analyses using data collected from multiple sources.
  • Evaluate business processes, systems, operations, policies, and organizational performance.
  • Develop workforce analytics to identify trends, correlations, and emerging business challenges.
  • Develop and maintain business process documentation using Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN).
  • Review current business processes and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
  • Streamline data flow between enterprise databases and business systems.
  • Establish scalable and automated data analysis processes.
  • Create, modify, and enhance reporting tools by importing and exporting data, updating tables, creating queries, and improving reporting capabilities.
  • Audit business and workforce data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate ad hoc reports supporting leadership and operational requirements.
  • Partner with technical teams to develop scalable reporting solutions for recurring requests.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends within complex datasets.
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Produce reports, dashboards, flowcharts, presentations, and executive briefing materials.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Support dashboard development, data validation, and analytical reporting.
  • Utilize Microsoft 365 applications, including Access, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Visio, to support analytical projects and presentations.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in business analytics, workforce analytics, data analytics, program analysis, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years conducting analytical and support activities related to business intelligence, workforce analytics, or organizational performance.
  • Demonstrated experience developing enterprise dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and executive reports.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to executive leadership.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Federal Government human capital, business intelligence, or workforce analytics programs.
  • Experience with Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN).
  • Experience developing automated reporting solutions and business process improvements.
  • Experience auditing enterprise data and resolving data quality issues.
  • Experience with Access databases, SQL queries, or enterprise reporting tools.
  • Experience creating executive dashboards and strategic performance metrics.
