Job description

Job Title: Project-Based Data AnalystJob Description
This project-based Data Analyst role supports a major acquisition by providing hands-on analysis, reporting, and data management. You will run complex reports, perform data mapping and data migration, and use SQL to transform and validate data. The position requires strong technical skills, the ability to work independently, and comfort working in a fully remote environment over a 4-6 month period, with the potential for extension.
Responsibilities
  • Run and maintain reports that support an acquisition project, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Perform detailed data mapping between legacy and target systems to support data migration activities.
  • Execute data migration tasks, including data extraction, transformation, and loading, while maintaining data integrity.
  • Use SQL to query, analyze, and validate data across multiple systems and data sources.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and issues, and provide clear findings and recommendations.
  • Transform and clean data to ensure it is structured, consistent, and ready for reporting and migration.
  • Generate reports in Excel and other tools to support stakeholders with clear, actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with project team members to understand requirements and translate them into data solutions.
  • Support implementation activities by validating data, troubleshooting issues, and providing analytical support.
  • Document data mapping, transformation logic, and reporting processes to ensure transparency and repeatability.

Pay and Benefits
