Job description

Job Title: Data Analytics Lead
Clearance Required: Public Trust โ€“ Federal Client requires US Citizenship
Work Location: Hybrid, Washington, DC

The Data Analytics Lead will support the program by overseeing data management, reporting, credentialing/vetting support, WSO data updates, PSD submission workflows, and operational analytics. This role will lead a team of analysts, manage workload prioritization, support SharePoint-based data tracking, monitor program metrics, and develop executive-level dashboards and briefings for senior leadership. The position requires strong data analysis, stakeholder coordination, documentation, process improvement, and team leadership skills in a federal mission-support environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate daily assignments for a team of analysts supporting law enforcement and intelligence mission programs.
  • Serve as first-level escalation point for operational issues, workload prioritization, resource coordination, and process questions prior to project management escalation.
  • Oversee WSO data updates and maintain accurate program information in SharePoint and related tracking tools.
  • Support credentialing and vetting program data management, including tracking authorized users, agency participation, approval status, and related program metrics.
  • Manage and monitor shared inboxes related to WSO, credentialing, and PSD submission workflows.
  • Oversee PSD submission processes, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted for review in accordance with program requirements.
  • Analyze operational, credentialing, vetting, and agency participation data to support program visibility and senior leadership decision-making.
  • Develop dashboards, executive briefings, analytical summaries, status reports, and decision-support materials.
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, assess compliance gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Improve data governance by strengthening documentation quality, standardizing processes, and supporting remediation of control gaps.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate requirements into actionable solutions for technical and operational teams.
  • Develop and maintain business requirements documents, functional specifications, workflow diagrams, process maps, and other project documentation.
  • Evaluate and improve operational workflows to enhance accuracy, efficiency, scalability, and service delivery.
  • Support testing, validation, and implementation of system or process enhancements.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives, operational priorities, and reporting needs.

Required Qualifications:

Experience/Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience supporting data analytics, operations analysis, business analysis, or program support.
  • Experience leading or coordinating the work of analysts, specialists, or operational support staff.
  • Experience managing data in SharePoint, Excel, or similar tracking/reporting tools.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and prepare clear reports for leadership decision-making.
  • Experience supporting credentialing, vetting, personnel security, onboarding, or compliance-related workflows.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, documentation control, process standardization, and operational reporting.
  • Experience developing dashboards, executive briefings, analytical summaries, status reports, or decision-support materials.
  • Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate business needs into process, data, or technical solutions.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced mission-support environment.

Education:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar degree.

Salary and Benefit Information:

The likely salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
