Department: CDI - Clinical Documentation
Work Type: Full Time
Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to
Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $25.06 - $32.58 / hour
Summary
Responsibilities include identifying inefficiencies, generating reports, and collaborating with mid revenue cycles teams. Analyze and improve the revenue cycle coding and documentation practices through data analytics. Data mining to assist in identifying coding gaps, coding volumes and documentation opportunities for both the physician and hospital coding and documentation education teams and LPG providers.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, accounting, healthcare/administration or another related field required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in patient accounting, finance, revenue cycle, or another analytical position.
Certification: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or data analytics certification or equivalent is preferred.
License: N/A
Other: Proficient knowledge of Epic and Solventum. Use of Microsoft products inclusive of Power BI, Excel, Epic Slicer Dicer, and Microsoft Access. Self-starter with strong ambition to investigate and research. Strong analytical personality, process flow, root cause analysis. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of revenue cycle stream inclusive of coding and documentation regulatory practices is preferred.
