Job description

We are seeking a Technical Counselor to advise, guide and provide insights to Data and Artificial Intelligence Leaders. The main objective is to assist these leaders in delivering improved results by optimizing their practice and general decision making, mitigating risk, and addressing the struggles and challenges they face on the path to professional excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Technical Counsel and oversight exclusively to 18-20 clients within any 12-month period cultivated or assigned
  • Ability to participate in unstructured value-based client conversations and create new methods for a client’s success
  • Provide confidential and professional advising to our members in-person, telephonically, as well as digitally through Video Conferencing
  • Evaluate members’ needs and work with them to set objectives and develop a strategy/work plan within the terms and conditions of the members’ agreement.
  • Embrace Info-Tech Research Group culture of continuous learning by participating in on-going self and industry development activities.
  • Provide proactive thought leadership and new ideas not “asked for” on behalf of the client’s membership
  • Participate in regular communication / support / education and participation with Sales Leadership and Account Directors to account planning and support efforts
  • Leverage ITRG and 3rd party assets to deliver on promises within the memberships
  • Diagnose member value expectations pain points and connect them with appropriate Info-Tech Research Group product solutions
  • Build strong relationships with the client’s peers and important stakeholders to provide experiences that are tailored to the clients objectives and culture.

Experience:

  • Possess a minimum of 15 years of professional IT experiences at multiple organizations at leadership positions in Data and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Acquired experience in five or more of the following areas:
    • Agentic AI frameworks
    • Machine Learning
    • AI Technology Selection
    • AI Strategy
    • AI Governance
    • AI Use Cases
    • MLOps/AIOps
    • IT/OT
    • IIoT
    • Data Lakehouse/Big Data/Data Warehousing

  • Solid people relationship skills; operational and systems development skills
  • Ability to coordinate complex service delivery models and respond to diverse needs of a variety of key-stakeholders
  • Exceptional customer service focus, high professionalism and adherence to ethical principles of conduct
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, self-starter
  • Ability to adhere to members and Info-Tech Research Group core value as a trusted executive
  • Strong verbal, written, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Bilingual proficiency in French, Spanish or German is good to have to support our diverse client base across North America and globally.
  • Ability to travel approx. 25% of the time, as needed and obtain a TN1 Visa
