Job description

Summary

This position is responsible for analyzing business data and developing analytical solutions that support strategic and operational decision making across the organization. The incumbent independently evaluations reporting requirements, develops business intelligence solutions, recommends process improvement, and provides analytical insight supporting Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Compliance initiatives. This role will support cross functional business stakeholders and align with the extended global team on operating standards and methodologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Business Intelligence & Analytics

a. Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards and analytical reporting solutions.

b. Analyze operational, financial, and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

c. Determine appropriate analytical methodologies, KPIs, calculations, and reporting structures.

d. Develop executive level reports supporting budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, and operation performance.

e. Evaluate reporting requests and determine the most effective analytical approach.

2. Business Process Improvement

a. Evaluate existing reporting processes and recommend improvements.

b. Identify automation opportunities using Power BI, Power Platform, and ERP capabilities.

c. Lead implementation of approved reporting enhancements.

d. Recommend improvements to reporting standards and KPI definitions.

3. Systems Analysis & Collaboration

a. Analyze business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.

4. Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) / Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Data Handling

a. Perform hands-on support of sensitive/controlled data and documents in accordance with PCI's CMMC Level 2 program.

b. Maintain tracking logs for CUI documentation status, markings, and version control; escalate inconsistencies for review.

5. Data Governance & Compliance

a. Evaluate data quality and integrity across enterprise systems and recommend corrective actions.

b. Develop and maintain reporting processes supporting CMMC level 2 and CUI requirements.

c. Interpret internal governance requirements and ensure reporting processes remain compliant.

d. Consult with department leaders regarding reporting priorities and analytical needs.

e. Serve as a subject matter resource for reporting methodology and business intelligence.

f. Collaborate with the Senior Data & AI Architect and stakeholders while independently managing assigned analytical initiatives.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in data science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, or related field. Three to Five years of progressively responsible experience in business intelligence, reporting, financial analysis, or operational analytics in a manufacturing or ERP environment. Epicor Kinetic preferred.

Technical Skills

Expert-level Microsoft Excel (formulas, modeling, workbook integrity); advanced Power BI including DAX and data modeling; SQL; ERP Systems (Epicor Kinetic preferred) Power Platform; understanding of data governance principles.

Data Access & Compliance Requirement

This position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) within PCI's CMMC Level 2 environment. All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident ('Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Language Skills

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and hands on experience of MS applications (Outlook, Word and Excel); Accounting software; Database software; ability to prepare spreadsheet and reports as needed.

Other Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast pace work environment with multiple deadlines requirements. Ability to follow-up and manage workload effectively. Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational and prioritizing skills. Able to work independently as needed. Must have a good attendance record, and report to work as scheduled: 8:00AM – 5:00PM (M-F), willing and able to work over-time as needed.
