Job Objective & Safety/Security Sensitive Designation JOB OBJECTIVE: To identify insights, formulate and test ideas, and partner with stakeholders in City of Little Rock Departments to improve data quality, data collection systems, and data analytics relative to financial activities. This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening. Minimum Qualifications, Additional Requirements and Supervisory Responsibilities These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of four (4) years of college coursework in Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Physics, Finance, or a related field; one (1) year of professional-level experience in technical data analysis, data science, data warehousing, financial services or related for a large multi-departmental agency or organization, preferably in the public sector OR one (1) year of demonstrated experience supporting business operations in an analytics capacity to include experience in data management systems or related area OR one (1) year of experience in an Analytical role with a heavy focus on querying data, analyzing and presenting analyses to stakeholders across the organization. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
