As a Data Solutions Intern in Enterprise Data Solutions, you will help support DTCC’s enterprise data programs, including work related to master and reference data, data stewardship, data quality, reporting, and data modernization. Your work may support data analysis, process analysis, business requirements, data quality monitoring, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration, giving you practical exposure to how trusted, high-quality data supports business decisions, operational efficiency, modernization, and innovation across DTCC.

At DTCC, interns contribute to meaningful work while learning how the financial markets operate behind the scenes. You will be part of a structured summer experience that combines team-based project work, training, feedback, mentorship, and opportunities to connect with leaders and peers.

The Summer Internship Program is a 10-week experience designed to build a strong foundation for early-career talent. The program includes orientation, training, manager engagement, feedback milestones, networking, and development experiences that help students explore potential full-time career paths, including EDGE where applicable.

Role Responsibilities

  • Perform data and process analysis to identify trends, gaps, requirements, and opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, or usability.
  • Help document data-related business requirements in collaboration with business, functional, and technology stakeholders to support data modernization and data quality monitoring.
  • Support master and reference data, data stewardship, reporting, or data governance activities that help ensure business data is accurate, useful, and fit for purpose.
  • Assist with organizing documentation, metrics, findings, and supporting materials used for reporting, analysis, presentations, or program updates.
  • Contribute ideas to improve data processes, documentation, reporting, stakeholder communication, and the overall user experience for data consumers.

What will help you succeed

Required

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Expected graduation date: Spring 2028
  • Minimum GPA: 3.2
  • Authorization to work permanently in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred

  • Coursework, projects, prior work, internship, student organization, volunteer, or leadership experience related to the role.
  • Interest in financial services, technology, operations, risk, data, business, or the specific business area.
  • Interest in data management, data analytics, data quality, data governance, financial services, or technology-enabled business transformation.
