We are seeking a Market Insight Analyst to join our Sales Support Team. Operating across Canada’s coast-to-coast-to-coast sales network, this role supports multiple business segments - including construction, forestry, agriculture, and transportation. This role transforms standardized sales and market data into clear, actionable insights that support day-to-day decision-making across the organization. The Market Insight Analyst delivers accurate, timely reporting and analysis using established data models and reporting tools, providing meaningful exposure to how data supports sales, operations, marketing, and leadership teams.

Duties and Responsibilities 

The role of Market Insight Specialist will include, but not be limited to:

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring sales, inventory, and market share reports
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity to identify insights and opportunities
  • Interpret standardized datasets and data models to deliver accurate, meaningful analysis
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analytical support to meet evolving business needs
  • Develop an understanding of sales, inventory, and operational processes to ensure reporting aligns with business requirements
  • Create clear data visualizations and summaries using Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence tools
  • Collaborate with Sales Support teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance
  • Identify opportunities to improve, automate, or streamline reporting processes

Required Skills
  •        Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in analytics, reporting, or business intelligence, including internships, co-op placements, or applied academic experience
  • Experience supporting sales or operational teams and improving or automating reporting is considered an asset

Required Experience
  •        Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, or data modeling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate insights clearly
