Job Description

This four-week internship provides an opportunity for high school students to gain real-world work experience in NANA's office.  Start date: June 15, 2026. Interviews will take place as applications are received.  This internship will last 4-weeks and interns must be able to commit to the entire internship, 2 High School Interns being hired for each village.  Application timeframe closing May 23, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • This position will provide administrative support to the Shareholder Relations Coordinator and work on special projects as assigned.
  • Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success also may be assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be a NANA shareholder. NANA shareholders own stock in NANA Regional Corporation, Inc.
  • Minimum age 14.
  • Must be entering the 9th-12th grade in the fall of 2025 or a 2026 high school graduate to qualify.
  • Must provide a complete application and resume when submitting the application.
  • Must provide 1 letter of recommendation when submitting the application.
  • Must be able to commit to entire work assignment.

  • Have great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (outlook, word and excel).
  • Willingness to learn.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Weather: Indoors - environmentally controlled; requires most or all work to be done inside.

Noise level: The noise level in the work environment is usually that of a standard office atmosphere.

Description of environment: Office building with standard office environment.

Physical requirements:  Employee is required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.
