Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Brooklyn, OH. This is a 10+ month contract opportunity.
The Enterprise Data & Analytics Services (EDAS) organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to help deliver enterprise data initiatives that support critical business, regulatory, and operational objectives. This role drives project execution across multiple teams by coordinating activities, managing dependencies, tracking deliverables, and ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into project progress and readiness. Working closely with Business Analysts, Data Analysts, and Engineers, this individual serves as a central coordination point across EDAS.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, RAID logs, action-item trackers, and project documentation
  • Drive execution across multiple concurrent projects while maintaining visibility into deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and milestones
  • Track commitments, action items, and key decisions, ensuring accountability and timely completion
  • Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, constraints, and dependency impacts before they affect delivery
  • Partner with business and technology project managers to ensure EDAS deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and implementation activities remain aligned with broader project and program objectives
  • Facilitate implementation planning, readiness reviews, project checkpoints, and status meetings
  • Serve as a central coordination point across EDAS teams supporting project delivery
  • Prepare and deliver concise, fact-based project status updates, dashboards, and governance materials

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Project Management, Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 8 years of Project Management, Technology Delivery, PMO, or related experience
  • Banking or Financial Services experience supporting technology, data, analytics, governance, regulatory, risk, or modernization initiatives
  • Experience leading data-related projects involving Data Warehousing, Data Integration, ETL, Data Governance, Data Management, Analytics, Reporting, Regulatory Data, or Data Modernization initiatives
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects within large enterprise environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence as primary tools for project execution, delivery tracking, and reporting
  • Experience creating project plans, dashboards, RAID logs, executive reporting, and project documentation
  • Experience supporting Kanban, Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Strong project planning, organization, and execution skills
  • Understanding of Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Lineage, and Metadata Management
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

Desired skills:
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Scrum Master certification beneficial but not required
  • Experience supporting Enterprise Data & Analytics organizations
  • Experience with Alation, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, or similar enterprise data platforms
  • Experience supporting large-scale modernization or transformation initiatives

Pay range: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
