Job Description:

The Lead, BD Analytics will work directly with the Senior Manager, BD Operations in the Space and Mission Systems (SMS) Segment, Airborne Solutions (ASL) Sector. The individual will be responsible for coordination of BD Analytics requests including management of the orders pipeline, AOP orders objectives, B&P and DS budget tracking, and departmental budget management. Operating within a weak matrix organization, this role serves as a translator of opportunity management and business ideas into clear, concise, and compelling strategic direction, with visibility up to senior leadership.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze new business data trends and generate innovative insights, communicating well-articulated conclusions verbally and through written presentation materials to the S&BD leadership team.
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing business development processes and develop automated solutions leveraging SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform tools including Power BI, Power Automate, and PowerApps.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support pipeline visibility, budget tracking, and new business analytics across the ASL Sector and SMS Segment.
  • Leverage AI tools broadly across business development functions, applying prompt development techniques to enhance productivity, accelerate analysis, and improve the quality of deliverables.
  • Coordinate Sector and Segment data calls, providing timely, accurate, and complete information.
  • Work with Finance to facilitate long-range planning cycles supporting current year and strategic forecasting, including B&P, DS, and departmental budget tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the SMS Segment BP Operations team and cross-functional organizations including Strategy, Capture, Finance, and Program Management.
  • Prepare and coordinate executive-level briefing materials supporting Corporate, Segment, and Sector new business requirements.
  • Ability to obtain US Government clearance

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • MBA or Graduate Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or Data Science.
  • Knowledge of or experience with Palantir Foundry or other AI agent in a data analytics or business intelligence capacity.
  • Secret or TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform tools including Power BI, Power Automate, and PowerApps, and Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Comfortable working with AI tools and familiar with prompt development techniques in a professional or analytical context.
  • Experience with the Department of War or Intelligence Community.
  • Business and financial acumen in defense, aerospace, and/or relevant technology markets.
  • Knowledge of L3Harris products and capabilities.
