Educators Rising is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented graduate student or upper-level undergraduate for a Fall 2026 research and data internship focused on measuring and communicating the impact of Educators Rising on the educator workforce pipeline.

This project-based internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-priority organizational initiative aimed at strengthening how we collect, analyze, and communicate program impact. The intern will help assess current data systems, identify opportunities to enhance impact measurement, and develop insights that inform how Educators Rising tells its story to funders, partners, and policymakers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive review of Educators Rising data collection practices, systems, and reporting processes to identify gaps and develop a Data Gap Assessment with recommendations for strengthening long-term impact tracking and evaluation.
- Analyze participation, enrollment, and program data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Research national and state-level educator workforce data, including teacher shortages, demand projections, and pipeline trends.
- Explore and propose key indicators related to student demographics, participation, career interests, postsecondary pathways, and workforce outcomes.
- Review and synthesize publicly available education and workforce datasets to contextualize Educators Risingโs impact
- Support the development of research briefs, summaries, recommendations, and presentations that translate findings into clear, actionable insights for organizational leadership and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with staff and participate in regular project meetings throughout the internship.

Qualifications:
Current graduate student or upper-level undergraduate in one of the following or a related field:
- Data Analytics
- Education Research
- Public Policy
- Statistics
- Sociology
- Educational Leadership
Skills needed:
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written communication and ability to translate data into clear insights.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage timelines independently.
- Experience with spreadsheets, survey data, or research tools preferred.
- Interest in education, workforce development, nonprofit research, or program evaluation strongly preferred.
