Job Overview

Join our team at the Marvin Composites plant in Fargo, ND as a EHS Intern. At Marvin Composites, we manufacture composite fiberglass window frame materials, renowned for quality and innovation.As an EHS Intern (Environmental Health and Safety), you'll have the unique opportunity to witness our cutting-edge equipment up close and personal. Gain valuable hands-on experience on the production floor as you work towards creating a safer and more efficient workplace environment. This role will also include supporting corrective actions and incident investigations, assisting with emergency response preparedness, EHS continuous improvement projects, and upholding health and safety excellence throughout the facility.This paid internship offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with all departments including Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and R&D. We're looking for candidates available to work year-round, allowing you to balance your studies with real-life emergency management experience.

Highlights of your role

Lead facility Environmental Health & Safety initiatives, administrative controls and EHS program revisions, EHS inspections, risk assessments, and safety committee participation. Ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations, participating in incident investigations, and collaborating with employees across all departments to continuously improve workplace safety. Assist with hazardous waste management, fire protection systems, hazard identification, ergonomic evaluations, leading & lagging indicators, and site security measures. Grow your skills and knowledge in an encouraging work environment, surrounded by experienced experts eager to mentor and guide you
