CO-OP/Intern Cycle: January - June 2027

Anticipated Start & End Date:ย January 4, 2027, to June 25, 2027 (flexible based on school requirements)

Location: Boston, MA

Office Requirements: 3-4 days in office

Team: Business Solutions

POSITION SUMMARY:ย 

Audax is looking for a dynamic, motivatedย Data Analystย CO-OPย to join the business solutions team. This position willย be responsible forย supporting the company's Business Intelligence ("BI") strategy with hands-on experience in data analytics, data modeling, and Business Intelligence. You will collaborate withย the businessย intelligence, finance, strategic resources, andย dealย teams to design, develop, andย maintainย data models, ensure data quality and integrity, and contribute to the expansion of the company's BI strategy.ย 

RESPONSIBILITIES:ย 

Designing, implementing,ย maintainingย and scaling Audax's BI reporting and Semantic Layerย 

  • Support Business Solutions and other strategic resources functions with Power BI and Data Analytics development.ย 
  • Work with professionals to scale the semantic layer within the company's cloud enterprise data warehouse.ย 
  • Play an integral role in designing ETL processes and analytic pipelines for investment professionals.ย 
  • Assistย with implementation of data governance policies, including data cataloging and data lineage.ย 
  • Provide data validation and data quality assessments.ย 
  • Identifyย and resolve data anomalies.ย 

COMPETENCIES:ย ย 

  • Proficientย in Power BI and SQLย required.ย 
  • Experience designing and implementingย optimalย data models.ย 
  • Familiarity withย on-premiseย and cloud-basedย databasesย a plus.ย 
  • Familiarity with tabular modelingย a plus.ย 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:ย 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's orย Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics Engineering, or another related field.ย 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.ย 
  • Previousย Co-Op or full-time experience in a related field is a plus.ย 
  • Experience taking large data sets, and cleaning/distilling these datasets.ย 
  • Experience withย Pythonย a plus.ย 
  • Experience with Alteryx and its advanced capabilities a plus.ย 
  • Strong written and oral communication skillsย required.ย 
  • Ability to interact in an efficient and meaningful way with all levels of the organizationย required.ย

OTHER DUTIES: ย 

For Massachusetts: The hourly range for this position is $30.00-$34.00ย The hourly range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.ย
