YOUR ROLE
- The MEMS Sensors Product Engineer Intern position is a central role in the development of new products within the MEMS Sensors Sub-Group.
- The intern will be responsible for the following:
- Executing characterization plans and report findings.
- Create and execute qualification plans including test definitions, pre and post stress data analysis and final reporting of results.
- Bench validation of key product requirements. This may include hardware and software design, correlation with ATE data, etc.
- Interfacing with manufacturing site to ramp the product into high volume manufacturing.
- Interface with assembly for product BOMs and building samples.
Key Challenges:
- The intern will be required to interface with other engineers to problem solve any product errata, customer returns or test procedure debug.
- The intern can face some unique challenges including both ASIC and MEMs design or quality issues. This will require a strong knowledge in data analysis, setting up design of experiments and the use of the 8D process to help root cause and correct failures.
- The intern will interface with Design, Process, Test, Quality, Manufacturing and Customers throughout the New Product Introduction cycle of a program.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science and Engineering.
- Prior Product experience with Sensor/MEMS knowledge will be a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills - both oral and written - are required.
- Use of tools for technical analysis and productivity tools, such as JMP, MS Excel, MS Project are required.
