Join the College of Fine Arts as a Recruitment Coordinator and play a key role in implementing recruitment strategies, activities, and outreach efforts that support enrollment goals across the College's four Schools (Art, Dance, Music, and Theatre, Film & Television)!
The Recruitment Coordinator engages a wide range of stakeholders, including prospective students and their families, to ensure a welcoming, student-centered experience from initial inquiry through enrollment. Some weekends, evenings or extended hours may be needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
RECRUITMENT IMPLEMENTATION:
  • Coordinate recruitment plans and processes as the primary front-line recruiter for the College of Fine Arts. Recruits for all CFA degree programs at targeted campus, high school, and regional/national venues and events.
  • Attends and assists in the coordination of discipline-specific portfolio, audition, and campus visit programs, and University-wide admissions and yield events, Admitted Student Days, and other engagement opportunities.
  • Manages applicant pool, utilizing campus administrative software and ongoing communication, including in-person appointments, information sessions, College tours, phone calls, direct mail, email, and social media.

RECRUITMENT STRATEGY:
  • Coordinate and implement communication strategies that support and serve the recruitment priorities of the College of Fine Arts and its constituent Schools, based on: data-derived insights; close collaboration with academic leadership; and understanding of institutional and broader trends.
  • Support & assist with recruitment plans to internal stakeholders; and develops and maintains annual recruitment timelines, calendars, and communication plans.
  • Develops and implements messaging that demonstrates CFA's commitment to community and belonging, the value of a fine arts education, and graduate outcomes.

ADMISSIONS & ENROLLMENT ADMINISTRATION:
  • Works with Enrollment Management teams (including central Admissions, the Slate (CRM) team, Systems Communications team, and others) to manage application logistics, secondary applications, systematic automated communications plans, and admissions process logistics.
  • Monitors, tracks, and shares application data and applicant inquiries with leadership, colleagues, and partners as appropriate.
  • Coordinates applicant tracking and reporting using university systems, preparing reports related to applications, admits, deposits, and enrollment.

ANALYSIS & EVALUATION:
  • Works with stakeholders in the College and its Schools to continually monitor recruitment activities, adapting processes and priorities accordingly.
  • Takes a flexible, data-driven approach to evaluating the effectiveness.
  • Reports outcomes and analysis to internal partners; uses original and institutional data to inform planning.

OTHER PROFESSIONAL DUTIES:
  • Assists with other College of Fine Arts Student Success activities and initiatives including coordination of Student Ambassadors, Graduation Convocations, and other student-oriented events.
  • Maintains familiarity with: institutional and disciplinary recruitment/enrollment trends; recruitment and broader higher education issues, philosophies, and debates; relevant professional development opportunities and training/engagement opportunities.
  • Other duties maybe assigned, as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations of students, faculty, staff, and others stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities including the ability to manage multiple simultaneous priorities
  • Ability to articulate the importance of building community, an arts education, and career outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience with intermediate data analytics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and standard business applications (including spreadsheets, desktop publishing, database management, and social media platforms)
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to prospective students and families, from first contact through enrollment

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
