About the Role

Elliott Davis is seeking an experienced, data-driven leader to join the Data & Analytics team within Strategy & Operations as a Director. This role combines client delivery, practice development, and team leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will help clients define data strategies, automate business processes, build scalable analytics solutions, and deliver actionable insights that improve business performance.

The Director will lead client engagements, manage project scope and budgets, collaborate with executive and operational stakeholders, and oversee delivery of data and analytics solutions from strategy through deployment. The ideal candidate can bridge finance, accounting, technology, and business operations to create measurable client value and drive transformation initiatives.

In addition to client service responsibilities, this leader will contribute to business development efforts, including identifying opportunities, developing proposals, cultivating client relationships, and expanding Elliott Davis's Data & Analytics offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements by translating complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and business outcomes

  • Design, oversee, and execute analytics initiatives involving structured and unstructured data using modern analytical techniques.

  • Manage projects from requirements gathering through implementation while maintaining scope, budget, timelines, and stakeholder communication

  • Lead or support deployment of software, automation, and analytics solutions within enterprise environments and modern cloud platforms

  • Partner with stakeholders across finance, accounting, FP&A, operations, and technology functions to deliver cross-functional solutions

  • Advise clients on data governance, data quality, security considerations, and sustainable operating models that encourage enterprise adoption

  • Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled analytics and automation capabilities, that can improve client outcomes

  • Mentor and develop team members while promoting continuous learning and adoption of emerging technologies

  • Support recruiting, talent development, and team-building initiatives
