Job description

The Role

The Wealth Management Client Analytics Director is a strategic analytics leader responsible for shaping and advancing the analytics vision across the Wealth Management distribution ecosystem. This role partners closely with wealth field sales leadership, Strategic Relationship Group (platforms), marketing, product, and senior management to drive data-informed commercial strategy, client engagement, and business growth.

The Director will lead the evolution of analytics from reporting and measurement toward predictive, actionable, and scalable intelligence that directly influences distribution strategy, advisor engagement, campaign effectiveness, and commercialization outcomes.

This individual serves as the connective tissue across client, product, engagement, transaction, and sales activity dataโ€”translating complex information into business insights, strategic recommendations, and embedded workflows that improve decision-making and accelerate growth.

While the role is initially focused on execution and cross-functional integration, the ideal candidate will demonstrate the leadership capability, strategic orientation, and business acumen to evolve into a broader data and analytics leadership role over time.

Weโ€™ll trust you to:
  • Own Holistic Analytics Strategy across Wealth Management: lead and provide actionable analytics to support sales leaders, product managers and marketing leaders
  • Lead Client Segmentation Strategy: Define and evolve client segmentation frameworks across channels, including prioritization models and engagement strategies for sales and marketing teams
  • Identify emerging opportunities to improve distribution effectiveness through data, automation, AI-enabled insights, and advanced analytics
  • Drive Next Best Action Capabilities: Co-own and enhance next best action tools and supporting field enablement resources to improve sales effectiveness and client engagement
  • Execute Advanced Analysis & Ad Hoc Insights: Conduct complex research and analysis by integrating diverse internal and external data sources; apply appropriate methodologies and deliver clear, actionable insights
  • Advance Data Strategy & Roadmap: Contribute to the design and execution of the client master and broader analytics roadmap, identifying opportunities to drive growth and improve commercial outcomes
  • Enable Data-Driven Client Strategy: Develop and evaluate audience segmentation, campaign targeting, product commercialization efforts, and execution effectiveness using data-driven approaches
  • Collaborate on Data Architecture & Operations Improvements: Partner with Data and Technology teams to enhance client master data, improve data workflows, and inform scalable data architecture solutions
  • Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives: Own and deliver strategic projects end-to-endโ€”from problem definition through solution design and implementation with clear measurable business impact
  • Translate Data into Insights: Apply deep expertise in first-party transactions, asset, opportunity and activity data to generate actionable insights that inform sales and distribution strategies
  • Promote Data-Driven Culture: Foster data literacy, transparency, and KPI-driven decision-making across the sales organization
You'll need to have:
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, data strategy, or business intelligence within asset management or financial services, with strong preference for wealth management intermediary experience
  • Proven ability to partner with field sales, platform relationship leaders, and portfolio specialists to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and impactful solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership in distribution-focused initiatives and client insight strategies, particularly across model portfolios, SMAs, and alternative investment products
  • Strong understanding of wealth management distribution models, advisor channels, and commercialization strategies
  • Enterprise mindset and strategic thinking
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • High ownership, accountability, and execution focus
  • Ability to translate data into business decisions
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • High ownership and accountability
  • Expertise in predictive analytics, machine learning, generative AI use cases, AI-enabled insights, or advanced analytics methodologies is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, cloud data platforms, modern analytics infrastructure, and data governance frameworks strongly preferred
  • Data analytics and storying boarding expertise
  • Deep expertise in client segmentation and operationalization of segmentation
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales enablement ecosystems
  • Proficiency in data analysis and database queries (SQL, Snowflake, AWS, PYTHON)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Deep understanding of data and analytics platforms
