Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to support our Federal Government Customer with delivering secure, cloud-based mission systems. The Engineer will contribute to the design, develop, and deploy scalable reporting and analytics solutions for government clients. In this role, you will gather requirements, architect data pipelines, and build high-performance dashboards that enable critical decision-making in secure, fast-paced environments. Your technical expertise and communication skills will directly impact mission outcomes.

**This position is one day per week onsite, four days remote

Core Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements and partner with stakeholders to understand complex data needs and emerging business objectives
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance reporting systems and analytics
  • tools
  • Create and optimize SQL queries, dashboards, and data visualization tools in response to client requirements
  • Identify, research, and integrate disparate data sources while maintaining data integrity and security
  • Communicate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams; respond to requirements in tight timeframes

Requirements

  • Must Be Able to Obtain Public Trust Level 6C
  • Ability to work on-site in Crystal City, Virginia, 1 day per week
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with Report and Dashboard Development
  • Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with the following technologies:
    • AWS services (S3, RDS, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch
    • JSON and JSON format mediation techniques
    • Business intelligence and visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau)
    • DevSecOps tools and techniques (Jenkins, Git)
