Overview:


Pherson is seeking a Training Analytics Developer Senior to lead advanced data analytics efforts in support of training and certification programs. This role applies sophisticated analytical techniques to integrate and interpret complex data sets, develop insights, and drive strategic decision-making. The position also guides system enhancements, supports capability development, and provides leadership across technical teams and initiatives. This position is contingent upon contract award with an anticipated start date of August 1st, 2026.

Job Title: Training Analytics Developer - Senior

LCAT: Business Analyst Level 4

Location: Springfield, VA

Operating Hours and Expectations: This position anticipates onsite work with standard work hours, Monday-Friday

Security Clearance:TS/SCI required w/ eligibility for a CI Poly

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $110,000-130,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply business analytics and customer segmentation and use data mining for structured and unstructured information to join and explore relationships in disparate data sets.
  • Apply advanced analytics capabilities to derive insights from a combination of unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data.
  • Maintain, move, and manipulate data between applications, using appropriate software.
  • Identify systems enhancements and new capabilities, concept demonstrators, capability business cases.
  • Provide training as new systems and capabilities move into operational use.
  • Represent the GPC Program on technical teams or consortiums.


Qualifications:


Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with MS Office, data mining, ability to develop and manipulate, and maintain databases.
  • Demonstrated experience using COTS statistical software (SPSS, SAS, MatLab etc.), COTS desktop software (MS Office and Access), and the Windows operating environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with software packages used for advanced statistical analysis of operational data and tools for data visualization (Tableau).
  • Ability to develop mathematical algorithms and applications in response to complex requirements.
  • Ability to identify systems enhancements and new capabilities, concept demonstrators, capability business cases.
  • Ability to provide training as new systems and capabilities move into operational use.
  • Ability to take leadership roles on technical teams or consortiums
  • Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal skills and an ability to work cooperatively and effectively as a team member
