Overview

The CSO ISTO Cyber Hygiene Team is looking for a proactive Security Specialist responsible for driving strategic initiatives within the Cyber Hygiene Vulnerability Management Team. In this context the Security Specialist will closely align with the Cyber Hygiene Pillar Leads and external stakeholder e.g. Engineering Teams, Patch Management, Application Owners and Embedded Risk Teams to reduce vulnerability exposure for DB.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the key liaison between new security advisories and vulnerability management processes, ensuring vulnerabilities are identified, assessed, and assigned to the appropriate remediation teams across all scanning and management platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive timely response and resolution of security advisories impacting Deutsche Bank environments.
  • Lead and support Cyber Hygiene initiatives, working independently or as part of global cross-functional teams to improve security posture and reduce risk.
  • Analyze stakeholder requirements, data, and processes to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and enhance vulnerability management effectiveness.
  • Represent the team in security governance forums, providing updates, insights, and presentations on vulnerability management and cybersecurity topics.
  • Champion a high-performance culture by demonstrating ownership, continuous professional development, and mentorship for new team members to support successful onboarding and integration.

Skills You'll Need

  • Deep understanding of Vulnerability Management principles, processes, and remediation workflows
  • Knowledge of Tenable products, for example Tenable Exposure Management and Tenable One would be an advantage
  • Strong Data Analysis skills to identify trends, risks, and actionable insights
  • Strong Analytical Reasoning and Problem-Solving capabilities to investigate and resolve security issues
  • Highly Organized and Detail-Oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Excellent Communication Skills with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with Nessus, Tanium, Splunk, or Prisma security tools
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud security practices
  • Industry certifications such as CEH, Security+, or Professional Cloud Security Engineer

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.
