Overview

The Data Analytics and Reporting Developer is responsible for designing and developing datareports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to support business decisions. This roleinvolves working closely with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements, transformdata, and deliver high-quality, interactive visualizations. The position ensures data accuracy andoptimizes reporting processes for improved efficiency and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, and maintains custom reports and dashboards to meet the data needs ofvarious business units. Builds interactive and visually appealing dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, orother BI platforms. Extracts, transforms, and loads (ETL) data from multiple sources into the reporting tools andsystems. Ensures data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation and quality checks. Applies analytical techniques and tools to uncover trends, patterns, and insights in largedatasets. Performs ad-hoc analysis and deep dives into specific areas of interest based on stakeholderneeds. Works closely with business users, managers, and leadership to understand reportingrequirements and translate them into effective data solutions. Automates recurring reports and data flows to increase efficiency and reduce manualintervention.

Evaluates and implements new reporting tools, technologies, and methods to improve dataanalysis capabilities. Stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and reporting.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, orrelated field; or equivalent work experience. Five years of experience inInformation Systems. Two to five years of experience in health care.Proven experience in developing and managing reports and dashboardsusing tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar.Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing data reportingprocesses. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.

Special Skills, Licenses andย Certifications

Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau isessential, with Power BI certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: DataAnalyst Associate) preferred. Strong skills in SQL for data querying,along with expertise in data modeling and ETL processes, are required.Additional certifications in analytics or business intelligence tools are aplus.
