Job description

The Senior Data Analytics and Reporting Developer serves as a technical leader in the design,
development, and optimization of enterprise-level data reporting solutions. This role is
responsible for architecting advanced dashboards, automated reporting pipelines, and analytical
models that empower strategic decision-making across the organization. The Senior Developer
collaborates with business leaders, drives best practices, mentors team members, and ensures
data quality, scalability, and performance across reporting systems.


• Leads the design, development, and enhancement of sophisticated reports, dashboards, and
analytics solutions that support strategic and operational objectives.
• Develops highly interactive, scalable, and visually compelling dashboards using Power BI,
Tableau, or comparable BI platforms.
• Builds and maintains applications, forms, and workflows in Oracle APEX to support
business processes and extend reporting capabilities.
• Architects and manages complex ETL processes to integrate data from diverse internal and
external sources.
• Establishes and enforces data validation, quality standards, and governance practices to
ensure accuracy and reliability across all reporting assets.
• Conducts advanced analyses to identify trends, patterns, forecasts, and actionable insights in
large and complex datasets.
• Partners with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into
technical reporting requirements and long-term data strategies.
• Optimizes reporting workflows by designing automated, reusable, and efficient data models
and data pipelines.
• Serves as a subject matter expert in BI tools, SQL, and data modeling, guiding teams toward
best practices in analytics development.
• Reviews and enhances existing reporting solutions for performance, usability, and
compliance with organizational standards.


Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
• Evaluates, recommends, and implements new analytics technologies, reporting frameworks,
and methodologies to advance organizational data capabilities.
• Mentors junior developers and analysts, providing guidance, code reviews, and assistance
with complex reporting tasks.
• Stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and reporting.


Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data
Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. 7–
10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or
related systems, preferably with at least 3–5 years of healthcare
experience. Extensive hands-on experience developing, optimizing, and
managing enterprise BI reports and dashboards using Power BI,
Tableau, Excel, or similar tools. Demonstrated experience leading
reporting or analytics projects, optimizing data pipelines, and
implementing best practices for BI development. Strong analytical and
problem-solving abilities, with proven expertise in improving reporting
efficiency and data quality. Ability to work independently and
collaboratively while influencing cross-functional teams and
stakeholders.

 

Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications

Advanced proficiency in Power BI or Tableau; Power BI certification
(e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) strongly preferred.
Expert-level SQL skills for complex querying, data transformation, and
performance optimization, including experience with Oracle SQL.
Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake) is
a plus.

Work Environment And Physical Demands

work in other non-standing and non-sitting positions to install
cabling, systems hardware, and other related equipment.

$118,518.94 - $154,074.63
