SUMMARY
We're looking for a proactive and insightful Junior Data Analyst to join our Analytics team. This role is perfect for someone who's not just good with numbers, but who understands how to turn data into stories that guide decisions. You'll help build client-facing reports, identify meaningful KPIs, and develop visualizations that clearly show performance and opportunities. You'll work across departments, helping translate performance data into insights that matter to bring clarity to complex marketing performance.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their analytics career who's eager to grow their technical skills and apply data to real business questions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze performance data across social media and marketing campaigns (paid and organic)
• Create client-facing reports in PowerPoint or other programs, showcasing trends, insights, and strategic recommendations
• Identify meaningful KPIs and select the right metrics to track campaign effectiveness
• Choose the right visualizations that clearly tell the performance story
• Communicate findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders
• Support data quality checks and help maintain reporting accuracy
• Collaborate with the analytics team on performance trends, testing ideas, and tool improvements
• Assist with monthly performance reviews, including writing insights and building report materials
• Partner with the team (including another analyst focused on dashboarding and data strategy) to improve overall data products and explore new analytics tools
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting
• Familiarity with performance marketing or social media metrics (Meta, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Foundational knowledge of data analytics and performance measurement
• Good eye for data visualization and the ability to choose the right format for the right message
• Understanding of what makes a KPI meaningful and how to tie metrics to business goals
• Some exposure to basic coding/scripting (SQL, Python) is a plus
• Basic understanding of ETL processes and how data is collected, merged, transformed, and maintained across multiple sources and platforms
• Familiar with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio for data visualization
• Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn
