Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

KLA is seeking a highly analytical and innovative Aftermarket Business Data Analyst to support strategic decision-making across our global service and aftermarket operations. In this role, you will transform complex business data into actionable insights that drive operational excellence, inventory optimization, forecasting accuracy, and business performance.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical and analytical capabilities with business acumen and effective communication skills. You will partner closely with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and IT teams to develop data-driven solutions that improve key business outcomes and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and root causes impacting business performance.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, define business needs, and translate those needs into scalable analytics solutions.

  • Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment on requirements, capabilities, and project objectives.

  • Build data models, predictive analytics, and forecasting tools to improve planning and operational effectiveness.

  • Write and optimize SQL queries and leverage Python or other analytical tools to automate reporting and perform advanced analyses.

  • Support inventory optimization, fill-rate performance, supply-demand balancing, and forecasting initiatives.

  • Present findings and recommendations to audiences ranging from operational teams to senior leadership.

  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects focused on process improvement, business intelligence, and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Plotly, Python, SQL, Snowflake, or SAP HANA.

  • Knowledge of supply chain planning, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and service operations.

  • Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.

  • Understanding of MRP processes, BOM structures, FRU planning, and aftermarket operations.

  • Experience building predictive models and advanced analytical frameworks.

  • Familiarity with modern analytics and AI tools, including Claude Code, Copilot, and other data automation technologies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience OR

  • Master's degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Demonstrated success leading or supporting cross-functional business initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of related with experience with a bachelor's degree; or 3 years experience with a master's degree; or equivalent experience
