Summary:

The Data Analyst independently analyzes diverse data sets to identify trends, deliver insights, and guide strategic business decisions. This mid-level role collaborates across departments, develops executive-ready reports and dashboards, and plays a key role in interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs) to influence business outcomes.

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze structured and unstructured data using Excel and SQL to support decisions across marketing, sales, and operations.Create presentations, graphics, and reports summarizing key insights.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of company metrics, sales drivers, and KPIs.
  • Provide analysis supporting campaigns, events, and initiatives.
  • Execute analytic projects to support company growth and retention strategies.
  • Support data quality efforts by flagging inconsistencies and helping document known issues.
  • Conduct moderately complexanalyses such as correlation, trend forecasting, and variance analysis to inform strategy.
  • Design, build, and maintain recurring dashboards or self-service tools using BI platforms.
  • Extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from multiple systems to ensure consistency and usability.Present findings to upper management using well-structured reports and visuals.
  • Provide actionable insights related to company KPIs, trends, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate across departments to support strategic data needs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with anhourlunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Employees are also expected to work at least one non-convention farm event a year and to work at the annual company convention.

Exact hour requirements can be reasonably modified as necessary for the business needs by the employee's manager.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities of this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 20 pounds.
