Here's where you would come in: The Player Success Org (PSO), tasked with improving player engagement and managing a healthy relationship with our most valued players, is a critical function to the day-to-day operations of Zynga. You'd be expected to work with key stakeholders within the PSO to identify critical data dependencies, and devise solutions for them in the form of efficient data modeling, succinct reporting, timely investigations, and proactive insights.
Based on the problem at hand, you'd be expected to collaborate with Game and Central Analytics as per requirement to ensure complete horizontal alignment as well as standardized practices.

What You'll Do:
  • Work with large amounts of data to find opportunities to improve the player experience and present insights on optimal VIP outreach strategies, by finding statistical causation between campaigns, sweepstakes, outreach programs across various regions, demographics, and channels
  • Develop clear narratives from data using visualization tools that capture VIP engagement & health, player support, and campaign stats.
  • Extend support to the Player Support team to identify improvement opportunities in customer satisfaction, while optimizing for internal costs.
  • Collaborate with game analysts and product managers to better quantify the impact of PSO's campaigns on overall game performance and find opportunities to improve VIP engagement by leveraging in-game and external synergy
  • Provide adhoc support to account managers and senior stakeholders in measuring the effectiveness of off-beat campaigns, joint collaborations, and sweepstakes
What You Bring:
  • Fluent in SQL; Intermediate experience with programming in Python
  • Adept in at least one visualization tool such as Tableau
  • Experience in CRM or sales analytics is helpful
  • Demonstrated experience with some or all of the following: data mining, optimization, experimental design, computational analytics, and reporting
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • 2+ years of work experience in data analytics or data science roles
  • BS in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative field; Masters, MBA or PhD preferred.

The pay range for this position in Illinois at the start of employment is expected to be between $77,100 and $114,120 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Regular, full-time employees are also eligible for a range of benefits at the Company, including: medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage; 14 paid holidays per calendar year; paid vacation time per calendar year (ranging from 15 to 25 days) or eligibility to participate in the Company's discretionary time off program; up to 10 paid sick days per calendar year; paid parental and compassionate leave; wellbeing programs for mental health and other wellness support; family planning support through Maven; commuter benefits; and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.
