Job description

TIAG is now hiring a Data Analyst to support the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support Program. This role will join our team supporting the execution of advanced extraction, querying, and analysis of logistics and supply chain data from DMLSS/LogiCole.

This role reports onsite at Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD up to 3 days per week. US or Naturalized Citizenship is a requirement for consideration, as a government security clearance will be processed to start work.ย 

Responsibilities for the Data Analyst will include:

  • Ability to formulate data models to track inventory, procurement, and operational readiness.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DMLSS/LogiCole data architecture and reporting capabilities.

Air Force Working Capital Fund (AFWCF) Audit Support Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing analytics and evidentiary support for the congressionally mandated AFWCF audit.
  • Reconcile financial and logistical data to ensure continuous audit readiness and compliance with FIAR (Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness) directives.
  • Respond to auditor inquiries with accurate, timely, and reproducible data models.

General Data Engineering & Reporting Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Power Query to build automated, repeatable data transformation workflows.
  • Merge and clean large, disparate datasets from multiple DoD legacy systems.
  • Ability to design scalable reporting dashboards to provide actionable intelligence to leadership.
  • 5+ years data of data analysis and reports development, specifically using Business Intelligence Corporate Solutions (BCS) and editing SQL query language.ย 
  • 5+ years of DMLSS and JMAR experience.ย 
  • 5+ years of hands-on contingency materiel management and medical equipment maintenance and management experience with an additional emphasis of related reporting and analyticsย 
  • 4+ years of administration, oversight, and advisement of centralized Medical Logistics policy and procedures.ย 
  • Proficiency with SAS BI, SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel.ย 
  • Ability to report onsite 3 days a week
