Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong experience in data mapping, data analysis, and data transformation. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and application teams to analyze source and target data structures, define mapping requirements, and ensure accurate data migration and integration across systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements.
  • Perform source-to-target data mapping for data migration, integration, and reporting projects.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and transformation requirements.
  • Create and maintain mapping documents, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories.
  • Work with business users to understand data elements, relationships, and business rules.
  • Validate data mappings and transformation logic through testing and reconciliation activities.
  • Collaborate with ETL developers, Data Engineers, and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of mappings.
  • Conduct data profiling and data quality assessments.
  • Support data governance initiatives by documenting data lineage and business definitions.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and analytical insights as required.
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
  • Strong experience in Data Mapping and Source-to-Target Mapping (STM).
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
  • Experience with data migration, data integration, and ETL processes.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data models.
  • Experience with data profiling and data quality analysis.
