Ignite Digital is seeking a MidLevel Data Analyst to support a US Navy data analytics, cloud management, and IT modernization program in Norfolk, VA. This role advances Navy digital transformation by enabling highquality data insights, modern architectures, and enhanced decisionmaking across mission operations.

Position Overview

The MidLevel Data Analyst is responsible for performing sophisticated data analysis, developing reports, and creating intuitive visualizations that drive datainformed decisions. The ideal candidate can work independently or collaboratively, spot opportunities for improvement, and translate analytical findings into operational value. This role also includes mentoring junior analysts and supporting the development of data analysis standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, validate, and integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, risks, and anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain data models, databases, and analytical workflows.
  • Build and publish dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and develop predictive models using R or Python.
  • Communicate insights, findings, and recommendations clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
