Job description

Position: Data Analyst

Reports To: IT Manager

Location: Boulder, CO (in office)

Job Summary: The Data Analyst is a detail-oriented and business-minded professional responsible for supporting reporting, data visibility, and data quality across our business systems. This role focuses on building dashboards, supporting cross-functional reporting needs, and improving data accuracy and management, including ERP, B2B/B2C platforms and digital catalogs. The position is designed to reduce routine data entry, with the majority of effort directed at automation, analytics, and data governance. The Data Analyst will work closely with business teams and Software Engineers to help streamline processes, reduce manual work, and ensure data is reliable and actionable. This role offers opportunities to grow into data automation and advanced analytics over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Targit, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
  • Develop clear understanding of company business knowledge and aid the creation of various business performance reports and analytics to support business decisions.
  • Train and support end users in self-service BI tools.
  • Work with different business teams to understand business performance analysis, performance reporting needs and data challenges.
  • Partner with Software Engineers to support data automation, integration initiatives and process automation.
  • Help define data requirements and report logic for system improvements.
  • Responsible in accurate managing and maintaining company products SKUs info, pricing set up, update, and product catalog synchronization processes.
  • Monitor data consistency across platforms; proactively identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Develop and support development of documentation of data standards and SOPs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is complete, accurate, and timely at point of entry.
  • Handle exception-based, non-automated data updates in ERP and digital platforms.
  • Support product launches, updates, and promotional data setup as a data coordinator.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or BI-related roles.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience with at least one BI tool (Targit, Power BI, or similar)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, structured data handling)
  • Experience working with ERP systems is a plus (Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 preferred)
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a dedicated focus on accuracy, detail, and self-motivated working ability with minimal supervision or direction. Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


Status: Exempt - Full-time position
