Job description

Job Title: WMS Business Analyst
Locations: Memphis, TN & Maryland (DC Operations Support)

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced WMS Business Analyst to provide operational support for their Distribution Centers (DCs) in Memphis and Maryland. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), experience supporting warehouse operations, and the ability to use SQL for analysis and troubleshooting.

This role will serve as a bridge between technical teams and DC operations, providing support, resolving system-related issues, and assisting non-technical users with WMS-related processes and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for WMS users across Memphis and Maryland Distribution Centers.

  • Assist warehouse teams with troubleshooting WMS issues and system-related questions.

  • Analyze data using SQL queries to identify issues, validate information, and support business decisions.

  • Work closely with operations teams to understand workflows, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements.

  • Translate business requirements into functional solutions and communicate effectively with technical teams.

  • Support system enhancements, testing, and implementation activities.

  • Create and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and issue resolutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a WMS Business Analyst or similar role supporting warehouse/distribution operations.

  • Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse processes.

  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.

  • Ability to support and communicate with non-technical business users.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience working in Distribution Centers, Logistics, or Supply Chain environments is preferred.
