Job Description Data Center Project Manager Location: Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), TX Work Model: Onsite / In Person Travel: Required to DFW-area data center facilities as needed Position Overview The Data Center Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering data center projects from initiation through completion. Projects may include new data center builds, expansions, migrations, infrastructure upgrades, installations, and decommissioning activities. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams including Facilities, Infrastructure, Network, Engineering, Construction, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with applicable security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

The position requires an onsite presence and travel between data center facilities within the DFW area as project needs dictate. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of data center projects, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.

Manage project schedules across design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, migration, and decommissioning phases. Develop project budgets, cost forecasts, financial plans, and ongoing financial reporting. Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Coordinate activities across Facilities, Infrastructure, Network, Engineering, and external vendors. Monitor project scope, schedule, costs, risks, dependencies, and deliverables. Identify potential issues and develop proactive mitigation and resolution strategies.

Ensure projects are executed in accordance with safety, security, compliance, and regulatory standards. Support data center capacity planning and long-term infrastructure strategy initiatives. Ensure technical solutions and project activities remain aligned with established business requirements.

Coordinate project status updates, action items, and stakeholder communications. Support day-to-day operational and project activities while maintaining strong organizational and documentation standards. Travel to other data center facilities within the DFW area as required.

Required Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience within data center, infrastructure, technology, construction, or related environments. Strong understanding of critical data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, racks, cabling, and networking. Proven experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary and multi-vendor projects.

Experience managing projects across multiple phases, including design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, migration, or decommissioning. Prior experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) implementations. Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Visio.

Demonstrated ability to align project activities and technical solutions with business requirements. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines. Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills. Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities.

Willingness and ability to travel between facilities as required.
