GreenStone Farm Credit Services is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. This role is essential in transforming organizational data into meaningful insights that drive strategic and operational decisionmaking. The BI Analyst partners closely with business units and technology teams to design, develop, and maintain highquality reporting, dashboards, and analytical solutions.

This position also plays a key role in promoting consistent data usage, supporting data governance practices, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and passionate about enabling datadriven decision making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business objectives
  • Translate business questions into meaningful metrics and analytical approaches
  • Provide clear, concise, datadriven recommendations to stakeholders
  • Use Power Platform tools to automate reporting, processes, and data delivery

 

Reporting & Visualization

 

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models
  • Develop and optimize DAX measures to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Ensure reporting solutions are intuitive, welldocumented, and aligned with business definitions
  • Continuously enhance reporting based on stakeholder feedback and evolving needs

Data Preparation & Quality

  • Use SQL, Python, and Databricks to access, prepare, and analyze curated data sets in the Gold reporting layer
  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across BI solutions
  • Identify data quality issues and collaborate with data engineering teams to resolve root causes
  • Document metric definitions, assumptions, and data usage to support transparency and trust

 

Collaboration, Delivery & Governance

  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions
  • Participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, contributing to planning and continuous improvement
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customersensitive and businesscritical data

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related areas
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role is required
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, DAX, and the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Experience with Databricks or similar cloudbased analytics platforms preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
  • Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or similar certification preferred
