ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a global leader in financial technology and payments, moving money and information in ways that power the world’s financial ecosystem. They connect financial institutions, corporations, merchants, and consumers millions of times a day — quickly, reliably, and securely.  The Frisco, TX office is a key technology and analytics hub supporting Banking Solutions, Client Experience, and Enterprise Data & Analytics functions across North America.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position supports the Banking Solutions Client Experience Data & Analytics team, covering key initiatives including Critical Implementations — Demand, Capacity and Utilization reporting and dashboards, Master AI dashboards, Operations Support Trends and Ticket Resolution reporting, and Data & Analytics backlog and support requests for senior leadership.  The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking, BI development expertise, and hands-on data engineering skills with a fintech or financial services background. A coding test will be administered as part of the in-person interview process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
      •     Interact with stakeholders and users to define business requirements and necessary system modifications and convert business requirements into executable code solutions 
      •     Design, implement, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards and develop reports using Power BI Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), SQL, and data lakes 
      •     Write advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, complex KPIs, and row-level security rules within Power BI semantic models
      •     Build, transform, and analyze large-scale datasets in Databricks using PySpark and Python for data exploration, cleansing, and pipeline development
      •     Develop Python scripts and notebooks in Databricks for data automation, transformation, statistical analysis, and ad-hoc analytics
      •     Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiency 
      •     Partner with stakeholders to surface trends, enable data-driven decisions, and scale reporting solutions across the organization 
      •     Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, joins, window functions, and query optimization across large enterprise datasets 
      •     Design and maintain dimensional data models, star schemas, and BI semantic layers to support enterprise reporting and self-service analytics
      •     Monitor pipeline and dashboard health, troubleshoot data issues, and implement data quality checks and validation rules
      •     Collaborate with data engineers, platform architects, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, governed, and timely data delivery
      •     Automate recurring reports and analytics workflows to reduce manual effort and increase self-service capability across teams
      •     Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation and write well-designed, testable, and efficient code ensuring designs follow specifications 
      •     Develop and maintain technical documentation including data dictionaries, report catalogs, and dashboard user guides
      •     Present analytical findings and dashboard insights clearly to both technical and non-technical senior leadership audiences

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
      •     Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
      •     5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics and BI Development in an enterprise environment
      •     Strong proficiency in SQL — complex querying, joins, subqueries, window functions, stored procedures, and query performance tuning
      •     Hands-on Power BI development experience including Power Query (M), DAX formulas, calculated measures, data modeling, row-level security, and report publishing
      •     Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting — including pandas, NumPy, and data manipulation libraries
      •     Hands-on experience with Databricks — including notebooks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and large-scale data transformation workflows
      •     Experience in data modeling and dimensional modeling for analytics and BI semantic layers 
      •     Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts — star schema, snowflake schema, and data mart design
      •     Experience in financial services, payments, banking, or regulatory reporting environments 
      •     Excellent communication skills — able to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders and senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
      •     Experience with Azure cloud services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Microsoft Fabric alongside Databricks
      •     Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD practices for BI artifacts and data pipelines
      •     Experience with additional visualization tools such as Tableau in multi-tool BI environments
      •     Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodology and sprint-based analytics development
      •     Knowledge of financial services data domains — payments, transactions, risk, compliance, or client operations
      •     Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI) certification is a strong plus

Stage 2: Hands-on Coding Test — SQL, Python, and Power BI DAX will be assessed
