The Role:
AAPC's Training department is seeking a Faculty Manager to support and lead faculty within its Instructor-Led Training department. This role is responsible for faculty support, onboarding, coaching, performance oversight, and day-to-day issue resolution across live virtual courses. The Faculty Manager plays a key role in ensuring instructors are prepared, supported, and held to consistent quality standards while helping maintain a strong student experience.

What You'll Do
• Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty inquiries, concerns, issues, and class-related needs
• Provide timely support and troubleshooting for matters affecting class delivery, faculty readiness, student experience, and operational continuity
• Lead faculty onboarding, orientation, and readiness support to ensure instructors are prepared for launch
• Conduct regular team meetings and individual check-ins with faculty
• Deliver ongoing coaching, guidance, and development to support faculty effectiveness and consistency
• Conduct faculty observations, evaluations, and performance reviews using recordings, metrics, student feedback, and other quality measures to provide actionable feedback and support faculty performance
• Provide subject matter expertise and instructional guidance to faculty as needed
• Manage faculty professional development and ongoing training initiatives
What a Day in the Life May Include
• Responding to faculty questions, concerns, and urgent class-related issues
• Troubleshooting instructor needs that may affect live class delivery or the student experience
• Onboarding new faculty and ensuring they are prepared with the tools, systems, and guidance needed to be successful
• Providing ongoing support and training to current faculty
• Reviewing class recordings and performance data to evaluate teaching quality and consistency
• Monitoring trends in faculty performance, engagement, and student feedback
• Coaching faculty through opportunities for improvement and reinforcing standards and expectations
• Supporting schedule planning, coverage needs, and other operational priorities to maintain continuity across programs
Qualifications / Experience You'll Need
• Current and valid AAPC certification
• Prior teaching experience in corporate training or adult education required
• 3+ years of related professional experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Prior experience teaching or supporting online learning preferred
• Experience leading, mentoring, coaching, or evaluating instructors, educators, or faculty preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency
• Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable feedback
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work cross-functionally and navigate issues involving faculty, students, systems, and operations
