Overview

The Data Analyst plays a key role in designing and implementing advanced web analytics solutions for Publicis clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aggregating, analyzing, and providing insights that help monitor, optimize, and deliver data-driven recommendations to our clients on a regular and ad-hoc basis. The candidate will ensure the data used in the analytics process is accurate and robust, and must think strategically to identify areas of opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement detailed tracking and tagging plans, working closely with development teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive tracking of user behaviour across client web properties.
  • Contribute to both web & social analytics projects of varying sizes and complexity, including report automation, analytics tagging, data visualization, tool implementation requirements gathering and documentation, split testing, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Provide strategic advice and consultation to advance clients' data maturity and to optimize their digital experience.
  • Provide technical expertise on Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and other relevant digital analytics platforms.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for A/B testing opportunities while setting up, managing tests, and analyzing results to present to various client stakeholders.
  • Conduct insightful analyses to address business challenges, contributing to data-driven strategies and informed-decision making across the organization.
  • Contribute to the development of KPIs and robust measurement frameworks, aligning them with business objectives to ensure accurate tracking.
  • Undertake initiatives to enhance data collection, integration, and analysis capabilities.
  • Generate routine reporting, scorecards, and interactive dashboards (including weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc requests), while actively identifying & sharing key insights from the data
  • Contribute to client-facing communication, creating & maintaining excellent relationships
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to activate and analyze web analytics data
  • Ability to design and build dashboards in Tableau, Looker Studio, PowerBI, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable presenting and participating in group discussions involving both internal stakeholders and clients
  • Proven experience explaining technical solutions to non-technical audiences
  • Top-tier problem-solving skills with proven ability to identify meaningful patterns & glean actionable insights from data
  • Experience with A/B testing tools is considered an asset
  • Experience with social analytics reporting is considered an asset
  • The candidate should be curious by nature: critically thinking about the business and marketing implications of data - how analytics can be used to inspire great creative, content and user experience
  • Someone that is self-motivated, hard-working, and excited by digital possibilities
  • Undergraduate Degree (Marketing, Business, Statistics, Analysis, or other related degrees considered an asset)
