Location and Travel Details: Hybrid Onsite 2-3 days a week at Hill Air Force Base (Ogden, UT) Illumination Works is looking for a Data Analyst/Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, where we specialize in innovative data solutions and analytics. We are committed to leveraging technology to enhance data processing and insights, contributing to our strategic goals and mission effectiveness. This role involves a blend of technical expertise and collaborative skills, working in a hybrid environment to optimize data processes and contribute to our data-driven objectives. The key responsibilities include: * Collaborate with the data team to automate the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process using Azure Functions and Python
* Utilize Python scripting and core data libraries (e.g. Pandas, SQLAlchemy, pyodbc) to optimize data processing and analysis
* Act as data steward by governing and accounting for inbound and outbound datafeeds, coordinating with interorganizational stakeholders
* Leverage PySpark and Spark SQL in Databricks to architect and maintain big data ETL processes
* Implement data lineage, logging, and auditability preferably with exposure to Azure Log Analytics and Application Insights
* Operate within the government version of Azure, adapting to its specific features and requirements
* Maintain and develop BI dashboards with tools like Qlik and Plotly
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaborative skills
* Proactively seek to understand the underlying data and the business logic it supports, contributing to informed data analysis and decision-making
* Navigate cross-functional collaboration, bridging infrastructure, developer, and end-user needs to translate requirements into technical solutions

* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Existing CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to acquire
