The Role

As an Analyst on the Equity Investment and Analytic Services (EQIS) at Fidelity Investments, you will play a critical role partnering with our EQIS team and cross functional partners to help to develop data analytics for Equity Research subject areas including analyst coverage, impact metrics, portfolio analytics, as well as support on-going operational processes. This includes using digital and programming skills (Python/ SQL) to run analytics, generate reports, and respond to specific requests from senior management and investment professionals. This is an outstanding opportunity to apply your analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills to deliver data-driven insights to support investment decisions. Your responsibilities include:

  • Communicate effectively with many levels of management
  • Be comfortable working with investors and have an interest in understanding the investment process
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skills when faced with uncertainty or shifting priorities
  • Demonstrate a passion for leveraging technology to deliver scalable, long-lasting solutions to complex business challenges

  • Coordinate with technology partners and key stakeholders to develop and refine requirements and prioritization needs across Equity
  • Guide discussions and activities to ensure clear communication and collaboration among Equity business partners
  • Manage and communicate program status to stakeholders of various initiatives
  • Identify and articulate program risks and help to resolve issues as they surface

  • 2-4 years' work experience in or working with investment operations in financial services industry
  • Bachelor's Degree

The Team

The role is part of the Asset Management (AM) Compliance, Risk and Business Operations (CRBO) team, which is comprised of: AM Compliance, AM Risk, Business Operations and Strategy, Counterparty Research and Analytics, Investment Services and Investment Risk Management. The teams work together to support AM's strategic goals while being the best partner to the business to protect our clients via proactive compliance monitoring, risk oversight and strategic business planning. While part of CRBO, the role is aligned with the priorities of the Equity organization.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$153,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
