Job Summary:
Ovative Group is an independent media, measurement, and creative firm that helps brands transform their media and measurement programs. The Sr. Analyst, Reporting and Data Management position involves building effective reporting solutions and collaborating with various teams to unlock insights and improve outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities:
• Build effective, efficient reporting solutions at scale that connect to business needs:
• Work with clients and client teams to configure reporting templates to suit business need and drive improved outcomes.
• Support stakeholder training and troubleshooting for reporting solutions.
• Enable client-facing and pipeline data quality and readiness across our data solutions
• This requires a deep understanding of use cases and user stories.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and advocate for report configuration and flexibility where it matters and balance that with our need to scale across a diverse client portfolio.
• Ensure our solutions reflect best-in-class security and usability standards,
• Support with migration of remaining existing clients to our new reporting solution. Continually improve and maintain existing reporting solutions to drive better insights, time savings, and confidence in our reporting solutions at scale.
• Collaborate Across Multiple Teams And Stakeholders
• This is a highly collaborative role, working with internal teams including Client Services, Data Engineering, Measurement Solutions, Product and Activate to:
• Understand user needs and constraints
• Leverage insights gained to create and drive adoption of new, consistent reporting standards
• Unlock value for our Activate team members and clients to deliver time-savings and valuable reporting views in the most efficient manner
• Educate and train users on how to use our tools and reports in the most efficient way
• This role is primarily internal but occasionally requires professional interaction with our clients
• Adopt And Advocate For User-centered Design Principles
• Learn and understand media reporting best practices and advocate for improvements to better serve the organization
• Advocate to product on behalf of client needs to drive improvements to Ovative offerings
• Drive client adoption and personal expertise in Tableau, data bricks, and other relevant tools with a “template-first” mentality
• Learn to quantify impact and prioritize against desired outcomes
• Use these user-centric insights to influence the future of our reporting solutions

Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years experience with paid media metrics and key performance indicators, knowledge of marketing analytics and attribution methods
• Intermediate to advanced Excel experience and data viz tools
• Basic understanding of data warehousing and engineering concepts
Preferred:
• business intelligence expertise (Tableau experience, GLS experience, etc.)
• Working knowledge of SQL and ability to write basic queries to extract and analyze data; familiarity with Python or R
• Github/version control tools
